At City Railway we aim to bring interesting information, articles and pictures of all things Railway.
Without the railways the world would be a different place. They were a symbol of power, wealth and prestige and this can clearly be seen in the different structures that represent different periods in time.
They were shamelessly egotistical in representing who was in rule at the time and the structures and different styles are nothing short of incredible, especially when you consider that the vast majority were designed freehand by architects and artists and built by the hands of men with little or no machinery.
If you have knowledge of a particular railway or station and would like to share the passion then we would love to hear it and publish it.
City Railway are here to share the passion and the knowledge for all to read.

All submissions must be your own account of the subject and images must not be copied off the internet. If you require images for your submission then we have a vast library of Royalty Free photographs that we can search to use with your work.
